The many challenges educators face today
Hi all sorry it’s been awhile since last post I just been real busy with life.Im a preschool substitute teacher and im a online college student but I will try to post more often.Today I would like to discuss a very important issue that affects me and all educators of all grade levels from preschool to high school.First of all,I want to be clear that I truly enjoy teaching and being a assistant in a preschool ,I find education to be very rewarding however it can be quite a real challenge at times and very stressful. This post is dedicated to all my fellow educators and parents who have school age kids ,this info will help educate the public about the many issues today’s educators face.
I will discuss at least six major challenges that affect teachers today in various ways. I also want to bring out this is my opinion on stuff since I’m only a prek sub.
The first issue I will discuss is job stress and its many sources. This type of stress affects all educators in all grade levels and the intensity of it varies by age of students. For teachers of young children preschool and kindergarten level job stress can include children who hit ,push, and tease each other ,emotional tantrums etc… while teachers of older students have to deal with more serious stuff like bullying, talking back, cursing, emotional and mental abuse, etc… so the type of stress varies depending on student ages.
The second major issue all educators face is the extreme behavioral ,mental, and emotional challenges some students have to deal with daily. These problems some kids are born with such as various mental or emotional disorders and other issues are nurture based or from their family environment.
